The Yüpi application, developed by Vectalia and the Alicante City Council allows users to pay for the city bus from their mobile phone, without the need for cash or debit or credit cards. The app can be used on lines 03, 03N, 22 y 22N, as part of a pilot test. On the first day a total of 97 people paid for the bus with Yüpi and 150 people downloaded the application.
