The director of AFA Alicante, Luz Rodríguez, accompanied by the director of the association, Pablo López, received the check from the OFUA concert that took place on 3rd Mayo, at the Teatro Principal in Alicante, from the Director of Communication and Institutional Relations of The Vectalia Group, Ezequiel Moltó and the Vice Rector of Culture, Sport and Languages of the University of Alicante, Carles Cortés. The concert was sponsored specifically by the Vectalia Group.

The entity received a total of 3,227.42 Euros which “will be used to put an extension on the Residence and Day Centre that the Association recently initiated”, as explained by the director.

The Vice Rector pointed out the University’s committment to society from a solidarity viewpoint and thanked The Vectalia Group, annual sponsor of the orchestra, which makes it possible for the Philharmonic Orchestra of the University of Alicante to carry out this type of cultural and solidary events, colaborando with entities such as AFA Alicante, as Cortés stated during presentation of the check.
